The KSD Club Coaching Model has been in place since 2017, with its structure and approach evolving over the past decade. Its core purpose is to structure and organise coaching while ensuring continuity and evaluation, helping more of our players reach national-level football.
The foundation is to build a strong physical base, making it easier and more effective to learn the widest possible range of technical skills at a high level. This supports further football development.
As players develop, tactical awareness, decision-making, teamwork and understanding the different phases of play become increasingly important.
Football coaching goes hand in hand with social integration, discipline, fair play and personal development.
Main goal: mastering fundamental technical skills. Players learn how the club operates, while the process gradually distinguishes between amateur and professional development pathways.
Tactical awareness, understanding the game, positional roles and collective attacking and defending become central, alongside continued technical development.
The focus is on understanding the game, position-specific tactical actions and improving teamwork.
The model aims to promote academy graduates, fulfil players’ potential and build a team the local community can identify with.
The model includes professional and amateur pathways. During the foundation phase, players train in Green, Blue and White groups according to their skill levels.
Recruitment at KS Dunajec is open to all. Selection for advanced (Green) groups considers football and physical ability tests alongside coaches’ assessments. Regular testing builds a consistent knowledge base and helps track each player’s development.
